About the Role

Integrated Engineering Contracting Co. (IEC) is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the execution of key industrial systems in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role involves comprehensive end-to-end management of Medium Temperature Hot Water (MTHW), Compressed Air, and Fuel Oil Systems. The Project Manager will ensure successful delivery from engineering coordination through testing and commissioning, adhering to project timelines, budgets, and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall project execution for MTHW, Compressed Air, and Fuel Oil system packages.
  • Develop, monitor, and control project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure strict alignment with contract scope, project specifications, and client expectations.
  • Oversee and coordinate design reviews, shop drawing approvals, and material submissions.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal engineering teams to facilitate project progress.
  • Ensure all engineering and installation activities comply with international standards and project technical requirements.
  • Manage procurement plans for major equipment and materials.
  • Evaluate subcontractor bids, negotiate technical and commercial terms, and manage contracts.
  • Monitor project budget, cash flow, and implement cost control measures.
  • Supervise and direct site execution activities, ensuring adherence to schedule and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with site teams for efficient mechanical system installation.
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations and quality management standards.
  • Plan, manage, and oversee pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
  • Verify system performance meets design intent and operational requirements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Lead progress meetings, prepare project reports, and communicate project status effectively.
  • Manage contractual correspondence, including variations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in project management, specifically within MEP or industrial projects.
  • Proven experience in managing district heating systems (Medium Temperature Hot Water), compressed air systems, and fuel handling systems is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems design and installation principles.
  • In-depth understanding of industrial utilities and piping systems.
  • Proficiency in testing and commissioning procedures for industrial systems.
  • Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the wider GCC region is preferred.
