Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, equipment, and services in alignment with company policies and budgets.
- Evaluate suppliers, request quotations, and compare prices to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and contracts with suppliers.
- Issue purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Monitor supplier performance ensuring compliance with contracts and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation related to purchases and expenditures.
- Coordinate with internal departments to meet purchasing requirements and operational needs.
- Resolve supplier-related issues such as quality concerns or discrepancies in invoices.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and continuous improvement in the procurement process.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a Purchase Specialist or similar procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and supplier management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple requests efficiently.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships.
