Reservations Shift Leader

About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Reservations Shift Leader for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role focuses on processing guest reservations and ensuring a professional, service-oriented experience for all guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, determine suitable room types, and verify availability and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special-rate, and cancellation policies, and document special requests accurately.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, and accommodations.
• Utilize sales techniques and accurately enter reservation details, types, codes, and rates into the reservation system.
• Follow established escalation procedures for guest concerns to ensure timely resolution.

Operational Standards and Team Collaboration

• Adhere to company policies and quality standards, maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
• Protect proprietary information, company assets, and ensure the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and actively support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested, which may include moving or handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Related work experience is not required for this position.
• Supervisory experience is not required.
• No specific license or certification is required.
