About the Sales Consultant Role

dormakaba is seeking a Sales Consultant for Electronic Access and Data to join its team. This full-time position is based in either Riyadh or Jeddah, reporting to the Channel Sales Manager KSA. The role focuses on driving sales of electronic access control and data solutions within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate sales leads and conduct product presentations and demonstrations for electronic access control and data solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with potential clients and meet periodic sales goals through effective sales and marketing strategies.
  • Identify and prioritize sales opportunities across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers through meetings, calls, and issue resolution.
  • Utilize consultative selling methods to understand and meet customer needs with relevant offers.
  • Sell through partner organizations to end-users, coordinating with partner sales resources and ensuring compliance.
  • Adhere to regional and country sales strategies, applying innovative methods to achieve sales targets and maintain a balanced product portfolio.
  • Liaise with other sales and support functions to address technical questions, provide sales demos, and build value arguments.
  • Attend sales meetings and share information on sales opportunities, customer needs, new product potential, and competitor activities.
  • Possess in-depth product knowledge to conduct demonstrations and handle objections effectively.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate tenders, and manage contracts.
  • Manage and develop assigned requests for orders in accordance with dormakaba pricing standards.
  • Provide presales technical assistance for ELV products, particularly access control.
  • Report regularly to management on customer visits, follow-ups, sales pipelines, deal status, and goals via CRM or other tools.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly sales reports to the line manager.
  • Ensure customer feedback is relayed to product management when relevant.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction by maintaining effective interpersonal relationships and building trust.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer, Mechatronic, or Electronic Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in ELV product sales.
  • Proven track record in delivering sales results in a competitive environment.
  • Experience in project/solution selling within the building industry.
  • Good knowledge of IT and computer systems.

  • Excellent command of English; Arabic language is an added advantage.
