About the Role
Gartner is seeking a Sales Coordinator to provide essential support to the Regional VP and sales leaders within the Riyadh team. This role requires a candidate with a strong data mindset, capable of interpreting data and generating insightful reports. This role is suitable for a team player with excellent organizational skills who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative setting. The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales team and supporting strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the VP, including managing calendars, coordinating operations reviews, weekly meetings, booking meeting rooms, and organizing quarterly team operations.
- Collaborate with the VP to develop ideas for team engagement and collaboration.
- Collate and extract data from various dashboards for weekly sales meetings and monthly town halls.
- Offer operational support by staying updated on MS Teams and Webex enhancements to effectively support team meetings and client events, leveraging technology for virtual and live meetings.
- Utilize Gartner-approved technology for presentations.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with sales teams, ensuring they have the necessary administrative tools to perform their roles efficiently.
- Liaise with Facilities to ensure the team's office space maintains a professional standard.
- Maintain an ongoing stock of current marketing materials.
- Manage financial aspects by ensuring authorized expenditure aligns with company guidelines and is incurred cost-effectively.
- Raise requisitions and process invoices in accordance with company-approved processes and within relevant budgets.
- Support Sales Proven Practice Execution by monitoring GSP systems for lead actioning rates and publishing updates to Sales Managers and VPs to drive efficient lead actioning.
- Follow up with Account Executives and Sales Managers when leads have not been actioned within 48 hours.
- Support the high-quality execution of Quarterly Sales Campaigns for the region.
- Ensure sales teams collect purchase orders in a timely manner and that retention lifecycle activities are on track through reporting.
- Attend monthly marketing meetings and communicate updates on virtual events, schedule placeholders, and registration status to the sales team.
- Create a monthly marketing newsletter.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably supporting a sales organization.
- Superior Excel skills, including proficiency in macros, formulas, and pivot tables, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and present insights.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint.
- Effective problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills.
- A strong desire to meet and achieve goals.
- The ability to establish credibility and build relationships with senior-level professionals.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
