This pivotal role involves working closely with potential clients to deliver the technical insights necessary to close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate Datadog's value proposition and business strategy.
- Engage technically with customers during the trial phase and address their issues to ensure successful outcomes.
- Utilize advanced technical skills and competitive knowledge to close complex deals.
- Deliver compelling technical briefings to potential clients.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in CRM.
- Actively communicate product feedback and competitive insights between customers and internal teams.
- You have a passion for educating clients about observability risks relevant to their business.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of articulating both business and technical advantages of our solutions.
- At least 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering or DevOps.
- Proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, etc.
- Able to travel up to 45% of the time to client sites.
