About the Role

CareerXperts Consulting is seeking a Senior Architect to join its design team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, office-based position is integral to ensuring the architectural quality and coordination across various projects, including commercial buildings, residential developments, and significant real estate ventures. The Senior Architect will be a key contributor to the design review process, technical coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration, upholding project requirements and standards as a senior member of the design team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive reviews of architectural drawings, design packages, technical submissions, and consultant deliverables to ensure compliance and quality.
Verify that all designs adhere to project requirements, local regulations, and relevant international standards.
Review concept, schematic, detailed design, and construction documentation phases, identifying discrepancies, missing information, coordination issues, or design conflicts.
Facilitate and manage architectural design coordination with Structural, MEP, Landscape, Interior Design, and other project teams.
Ensure the proper integration of all building systems by reviewing interdisciplinary drawings.
Actively participate in design coordination meetings and technical workshops to resolve issues.
Proactively identify and resolve design clashes and coordination challenges.
Review shop drawings, material submissions, and consultant proposals, providing expert technical comments and recommendations.
Uphold high standards for drafting quality and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Monitor adherence to project specifications and the overall design intent.
Provide guidance and technical mentorship to junior architects as a senior architectural representative.
Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
Support project managers in achieving project objectives and timely delivery of architectural deliverables.

Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant professional experience in architecture.
Proven experience in the design and review of commercial buildings.
Demonstrated experience with residential projects and developments.
Significant experience in real estate developments.
Experience with mixed-use projects.
Experience with high-rise buildings is preferred.
Strong capabilities in architectural design review.
Proficiency in design coordination across multiple disciplines.
Expertise in construction documentation.
Experience in reviewing technical submittals.
Skilled in shop drawing review.
A solid understanding of design quality management principles.
Proficiency in Revit.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Experience with 3ds Max.
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Strong stakeholder management abilities.
Experience working with international consultants and multidisciplinary teams is preferred.
Experience in the Gulf/Middle East region is considered an added advantage.
