About the Role
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Manager to join its MENAT Enterprise Greenfield Team. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focuses on driving digital transformation for enterprise customers by engaging with senior business and IT executives. The role involves establishing AWS as the primary cloud technology provider and promoting its comprehensive portfolio of services to help customers achieve their business, operational, and innovation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive digital transformation initiatives through engagement with C-level executives, IT leaders, architects, developers, and various business units within customer organizations.
- Represent the full spectrum of AWS products and services to enterprise clients.
- Achieve revenue targets and increase market share within a defined set of accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the AWS footprint within managed accounts.
- Manage multiple accounts concurrently with a strategic approach.
- Articulate compelling value propositions for AWS services.
- Accelerate customer adoption through effective sales engagements and go-to-market strategies.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage contract negotiations.
- Cultivate and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
Role Context and Team
As a Senior Enterprise Account Manager within the MENAT Enterprise Greenfield Team, you will be instrumental in increasing AWS adoption by developing a portfolio of named enterprise customers. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence the growth and adoption of emerging technologies. The Enterprise Greenfield team is focused on solving customer challenges and innovating solutions that enable customers to achieve their desired outcomes, operating at the forefront of technological advancements.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of direct sales or business development experience in software, cloud, or SaaS markets, with a focus on selling to C-level executives.
- Experience working with transformative technologies such as cloud, IoT, business intelligence, and analytics.
- Proven ability to navigate prospective accounts at a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in engineering, computer science, or MIS.
- Experience communicating clearly and concisely with leadership, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
- AWS Professional level certification, or a Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
