Senior Specialist Operational Readiness

About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Specialist - Operational Readiness to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role involves supporting the planning, coordination, and delivery of operational readiness activities for assigned assets and programs. The specialist will be responsible for converting readiness requirements into practical plans and actions, coordinating stakeholders, monitoring progress, and ensuring a safe and timely transition from project delivery into operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain operational readiness plans, checklists, trackers, and supporting documentation for assigned workstreams.
• Coordinate readiness activities across various functions including operations, projects, facilities, technology, security, safety, and commercial.
• Monitor milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and decisions, escalating items that may impact operational activation.
• Support the review of designs, asset handover requirements, operating concepts, SOPs, staffing, training, OS&E, and mobilization plans.
• Coordinate permit, license, and regulatory readiness requirements with internal teams and external parties.
• Prepare clear status reports, dashboards, meeting packs, action logs, and management updates.
• Validate evidence of readiness and support inspections, testing, commissioning, rehearsals, and operational trials.
• Maintain document control, ensuring readiness records are accurate, complete, and traceable.
• Facilitate workshops and follow up on actions with workstream owners to achieve agreed completion dates.
• Identify opportunities to improve readiness processes, templates, and reporting practices.
• Support lessons learned, post-opening reviews, and the transition of outstanding actions into business-as-usual ownership.
• Perform other operational readiness duties as assigned by the line manager.

Required Experience

• Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in operational readiness or a related field.
