Role Overview

alfanar Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer, Technical and Detailing Finishing to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires over 10 years of experience and focuses on supervising project construction, planning, and site contractors to ensure work meets required standards. The role also involves overseeing architectural, hardscape, and softscape elements to achieve client satisfaction throughout projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors for timely submission and follow-up to secure consultant approvals for materials, samples, mock-ups, and shop drawings.
• Coordinate between architectural finishes, MEP services, and subcontractors to ensure proper execution of finishing works.
• Review shop drawings and details of finishes, coordinating drawings produced by different subcontractors to achieve fully coordinated shop drawings ready for execution.
• Study the interactions between different trades, raise RFIs on discrepancies, and propose solutions to facilitate consultant approvals.
• Manage the productivity of architectural works to align with the schedule set by the general contractor.
• Develop site logistics plans for mobilization and demobilization.
• Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate negative impacts.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the construction process.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise construction projects and manage site contractors.
• Experience in overseeing architectural, hardscape, and softscape elements.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within alfanar Group's construction division. The role involves working on diverse projects within the Energy, Infrastructure, and Engineering Services sectors.
