The Role of Stakeholder Manager

Assystem is seeking a Stakeholder Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires over 10 years of experience and focuses on managing stakeholder relationships and ensuring project alignment with various requirements. The Stakeholder Manager will be instrumental in coordinating with external and internal parties to facilitate project execution and resolve interface issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the stakeholder register, engagement plan, communication matrix, and stakeholder action tracker.
  • Coordinate with authorities, utilities, operators, and internal workstreams to identify requirements and constraints.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings, record minutes, track actions, and ensure requirements are transferred to design, procurement, and permitting teams.
  • Support the alignment of stakeholder inputs with FEL3, RFP, permitting, and construction requirements.
  • Escalate unresolved stakeholder issues and support management decision-making by providing clear options.

Key Result Areas

  • Accuracy of the stakeholder register.
  • Timely engagement and action execution.
  • Effective capture of requirements.
  • Resolution of interface issues.
  • Maintenance of communication records.

Quality and HSE Responsibilities

  • Request necessary resources for the continuity and efficiency of the quality management system and increase commitment within the unit.
  • Ensure all unit activities comply with laws, applicable national/international standards, and ethical rules.
  • Carry out project activities in accordance with the Quality Management System and ensure rules are followed effectively.
  • Work in accordance with the Quality Management System and contribute to its development and continuous improvement.
  • Implement Assystem safety programs within the team and consistently adhere to Assystem HSE policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
  • Keep work areas organized and free of hazards; promptly report deviations, faults, hazards, and HSE incidents to the HSE Representative or line manager.
  • Participate in operational controls to eliminate or mitigate newly identified risks and support incident investigations when required.
  • Ensure personal actions do not compromise personal safety or the safety of others; cooperate on health and safety matters and stop work if conditions are unsafe.
