As a Sterilization Specialist at Nahdi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of medical procedures by maintaining proper sterilization of medical and surgical tools. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Decontaminating surgical and medical instruments.
  • Preparing operating areas and setting up equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with health regulations to protect patients from infections.
  • Assembling medical equipment and performing quality control checks.
  • Conducting inventory checks and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate sterilization records and keeping tools organized for timely access by physicians.

In this role, you will work primarily indoors, with a structured schedule of 6 working days with 1 day off each week. Working hours are from 9 AM to 1 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM, allowing for a 4-hour break in between.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (chemistry, microbiology, biology, biochemistry).
  • A professional accreditation certificate from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fluency in both Arabic and English.

Job Purpose / Objective

  • Participate in education and training sessions for new staff and act as CSSD Supervisor during their absence.
  • Transport and deliver sterile packages to the units in a proper manner.

Requirements
  • Education: Diploma or equivalent in Sterilization.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years working experience in a similar specialty.
  • Certification: Saudi Council License required.
  • Skills: Infection control and equipment management.
