Key Responsibilities:
  • Decontamination: Inspect and clean used surgical instruments and medical equipment.
  • Preparation and Packaging: Assemble and package instruments for sterilization.
  • Sterilization: Operate sterilizers and monitor sterilization cycles.
  • Storage and Distribution: Manage storage and distribution of sterilized instruments.
  • Quality Control and Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain accurate records.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing education and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a certified sterilization technician in a clinically complex setting.
- Bachelor’s degree or Health Science certification in a related discipline.
- Excellent command of oral and written English.
- Relevant licenses and certifications as required by the regional health authority.
