We are seeking an expert Translator to handle all correspondences with local authorities and other stakeholders. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for preparing Arabic and English letters and presentations promptly to support the Regulatory Affairs team and other UP&I needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate letters and presentations for the Regulatory Affairs team.
• Ensure accurate translation with a high proficiency in Arabic and English literature.
• Leverage your architecture, engineering, and legal knowledge to provide contextually appropriate translations.
• Respond to translation requests in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience:
A minimum of 5 years experience with a BA in Arabic/English literature, law, or translation. Must have worked locally with familiarity of the involved authorities and their protocols.

As a Translator, your contributions will play a crucial role in training generative artificial intelligence models.

Project Overview:

• Engage in text, image, and video data annotation.
• Utilize your cultural knowledge to annotate according to specific guidelines.
• Employ analytical skills for tasks such as summarizing ideas and ensuring factual accuracy in AI-generated texts.

Requirements:

• Experience as a professional translator.
• Strong professional writing background (copywriter, journalist, etc.).
• Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed an undergraduate or graduate program in a humanities-related field.
• Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia.

Role Details:

• Work is fully asynchronous, allowing for flexible scheduling.
• Minimum commitment of 15 hours per week.
• Project duration is approximately 34 weeks.
• Access to a desktop or laptop is required; Chromebooks are not accepted.

Compensation:
The pay will align with industry standards, with weekly payments made via Stripe Connect based on logged hours. You will be classified as an 'at-will' contractor with Mercor.
