About the Role

Segadty is seeking a Warehouse & Inventory Custodian to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for candidates with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to the meticulous management of company assets and inventory.

Role Purpose

The Warehouse & Inventory Custodian is responsible for overseeing the company's assets and inventory, ensuring accurate record-keeping, efficient storage, and timely issuance. This role is central to maintaining operational flow by managing warehouse activities, conducting inventory counts, and preparing essential reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive company assets and inventory items, verifying quantities and specifications against approved purchase orders, and accurately recording all receiving transactions in the system.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages identified during the receiving process.
  • Organize inventory within the warehouse to ensure efficient storage and easy accessibility, adhering to required storage conditions and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety procedures.
  • Issue inventory and assets to the Operations team, fulfillment partners, retail stores, and external events only against approved requests, accurately recording all issuance transactions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, monitor minimum stock levels, and notify management when replenishment is required.
  • Coordinate order preparation with the warehouse team and issue inventory to the fulfillment/picking team.
  • Monitor the availability of packaging materials (*, cartons, bags, bubble wrap, labels) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Conduct periodic and annual physical inventory counts, reconcile physical inventory with system records, and investigate inventory variances.
  • Safeguard company assets and inventory against damage, loss, or misuse, reporting damaged, expired, or obsolete items promptly.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department regarding lost or damaged company assets.
  • Prepare and submit periodic reports on inventory movements and asset utilization, including slow-moving, low-stock, damaged, or obsolete inventory, and daily operational reports.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 0-1 years of experience in a warehouse, inventory, or asset management role.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Required Skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to effectively monitor and manage inventory.
  • Ability to prepare reports and coordinate effectively with cross-functional departments.
