Job Overview: This Procurement Specialist role focuses on planning and executing procurement activities, handling contracts, and managing procurement processes effectively. This position is based in Dhahran, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage procurement activities, ensuring efficient operations.
- Support stakeholders by clarifying processes related to scope of work and material specifications.
- Draft proposals to convert repetitive purchases into contracts to create value.
- Develop sourcing strategies for mid to high spend items and pricing structures.
- Facilitate value creation through negotiations on price, delivery timelines, and cost avoidance.
- Conduct risk assessments regarding contract terms and conditions.
- Review invoices, monitor contract usage, and prepare RFQs.
- Analyze supplier bids, conduct formal bid openings, and maintain a tender control log.
- Work closely with Finance, Legal, and Internal Audit for compliance with policies.
- Maintain supplier relationships and perform regular performance reviews.
- Create documentation for all procurement activities for auditing purposes.
- Resolve disputes with contractors in collaboration with relevant departments.
Requirements:
- 510 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
