Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess student performance and progress, tailoring instruction to meet individual needs.
- Foster a classroom environment that encourages curiosity, collaboration, and respect for diverse perspectives.
- Offer additional support and resources to students facing challenges in math concepts.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support students' educational journeys.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
- Relevant teaching qualifications (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
- A minimum of 3 years teaching experience in mathematics at the secondary level.
- Strong understanding of contemporary math curricula and methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
- Commitment to nurturing a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Advanced qualifications or experience in mathematics education are considered a plus.
