Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on all assigned equipment and operating systems.
• Maintain production and facility equipment to promote uptime and minimize downtime.
• Clean and inspect equipment, repair or replace broken parts, and maintain machinery according to our Preventative Maintenance Program.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area, ensuring proper housekeeping.
• Coordinate and perform various maintenance duties related to servicing and repair of facilities equipment.
• Track maintenance activities in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all company and HSE policies.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned and maintain tools and parts inventory.

Education/Qualifications:
Minimum of a two-year technical degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field is required.

Experience Required:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintaining CNC machines is required.

Join Total Safety as a Safety Technician!
As a leader in integrated safety and compliance services, Total Safety is dedicated to providing essential products and services that ensure safety in various industries, including oil and gas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Fixed Gas Detectors in fertilizer and chemical plants.
• Schedule and plan maintenance activities at least one month in advance for effective planning.
• Conduct functionality checks on gas detectors and repair any identified issues.
• Generate detailed reports during maintenance activities and issue corresponding certificates.
• Regularly conduct toolbox meetings with the team to ensure safety protocols are understood and followed.
• Provide daily updates on maintenance progress to clients.
• Inspect control rooms daily and report any findings to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with plant checklists, SMPs, and OEM manuals.
• Respond to emergency calls and attend training related to work permit procedures.
• Install, test, and commission new gas detectors as needed.
• Adhere to any other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Good command of the English language and writing skills.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in the upstream or downstream Oil & Gas industry, preferably with fixed gas detection systems.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Capability to work in remote areas and understand gas detection technical manuals.
• Experience with devices such as Drager-7000, Honeywell series, and Detcon DM 700 Series.

• Lead an operational team of 7-8 operators in a safe and efficient manner, taking ownership of safety, quality, and productivity.
• Build a high-performing team by understanding individual capabilities and creating personalized development plans.
• Drive the team in shifts and develop their skills.
• Promote safety excellence, provide training, and facilitate communication.
• Monitor product quality and assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Complete data entry responsibilities and generate reports efficiently.
• Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry.
• Experience in leading high-performing teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts (12-hour shifts).
