Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant for a full-time, on-site role based in the Riyadh Region. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing budgets. Additional responsibilities include:
- Processing accounts payable and receivable
- Financial reporting
- Handling payroll functions
- Assisting with audits
- Collaboration with other teams
- Financial forecasting
- Providing insights to support decision-making
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and records.
- Manage general ledger accounting and reconcile accounts regularly.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow tracking.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Support external and internal audit requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper financial processes and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings if applicable.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferred Qualifications- Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or progress toward certification is preferred.
- Experience in Consultancies and Marketing Agencies is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local tax and regulatory requirements.
