About the Role
JAL International Co. Ltd. is seeking a dedicated OT Cybersecurity Specialist, exclusively for Saudi Nationals, to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be based in Riyadh and Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia, and focuses on safeguarding our Operational Technology (OT) environments against evolving cyber threats. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in OT security, network security, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response within industrial settings. This position requires a proactive individual who can provide expert guidance and implement robust security measures without disrupting critical operational processes, playing a key role in enhancing the security posture of our industrial control systems and ensuring the integrity and availability of our OT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Design secure zone-conduit (DMZ) architectures for plant networks to enhance security boundaries.
- Engineer network segmentation and VLAN solutions, alongside implementing firewall configurations, while carefully considering operational and real-time constraints.
- Implement OT cybersecurity solutions and controls in a manner that ensures no impact on process uptime.
- Lead and actively support OT cybersecurity initiatives across the organization.
- Provide expert technical guidance and recommendations for protecting OT systems from cyber threats.
- Conduct comprehensive cybersecurity risk assessments for OT environments and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Implement and maintain security controls to safeguard OT environments against unauthorized access and malicious activities.
- Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents affecting OT systems, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments using industry-recognized methodologies specifically tailored for manufacturing and critical infrastructure environments.
- Identify cybersecurity risks within OT systems and provide clear, actionable remediation recommendations.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of comprehensive security measures.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with stakeholders regarding OT cybersecurity risks, requirements, and implemented solutions.
- Stay current with emerging OT cybersecurity threats, evolving technologies, and industry best practices to maintain a leading-edge security posture.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Possession of an ISA/IEC 62443 Certification is required.
- Experience with industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC, Profibus, and other relevant OT protocols.
- A thorough understanding of IT and OT integration and the associated cybersecurity challenges.
- Demonstrated experience working within industrial and critical infrastructure environments.
- Solid understanding of SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and HMIs.
- Familiarity with fundamental OT security principles, including network segmentation, access control, and secure configurations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to navigate complex cybersecurity challenges in OT environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, fostering effective collaboration.

Additional Information
This is a contract position. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNA, GIAC, or equivalent are preferred.
Work Location and Requirements
The role requires Saudi Nationals only. This position is based in Riyadh and Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. Experience of 2-5 years is expected for this role.
