Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and contracts to determine project costs.
  • Create accurate cost estimates and budgets for projects.
  • Monitor and track project expenses, providing regular cost reports.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop cost control strategies.
  • Review and approve contractor invoices and change orders.
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Cost Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and cost control principles.
  • Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry is a plus.
