About the Role

Alasala Colleges in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, is seeking qualified academic professionals to join its College of Engineering for the upcoming academic year. Key Responsibilities

• Teaching undergraduate engineering courses across various specializations.
• Conducting scientific research and publishing findings in reputable academic journals.
• Providing academic advising and comprehensive student support services.
• Actively participating in curriculum development initiatives and serving on academic committees.
• Contributing to quality assurance processes and accreditation activities.
• Supervising student graduation projects and overseeing lab-based learning activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A PhD degree in an Engineering-related discipline from an accredited university is required.
• Strong English language proficiency, both spoken and written, is essential.
• Previous university-level teaching experience in engineering disciplines is a prerequisite.

Required Skills and Expertise

• Expertise in one or more of the following engineering specializations: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Architecture Engineering.
• Proven ability to conduct scientific research and publish in reputable journals.
• Demonstrated skills in providing academic advising and student support.
• Experience in curriculum development and participation in academic committees.
• Understanding and contribution to quality assurance and accreditation activities.
• Proficiency in supervising graduation projects and lab-based learning.
• Excellent English language communication skills.
• A strong research and publication background.
• Familiarity with NCAAA standards and academic quality assurance practices is highly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and academic leadership capabilities.
• Experience with laboratories, design projects, and engineering software tools is considered an advantage.
