About the role:
The accountant is responsible for processing payments and expense reports, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, creating accurate and timely financial records, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts and other financial accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Perform monthly bank and AR/AP reconciliation processes.
  • Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT and other tax forms.
  • Assist with budget preparation and financial planning.
  • Receive and record vendors invoices.
  • Perform audits and provide recommendations for improving financial procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support.
  • Use accounting software and systems for financial management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
  • 3+ years of experience in professional accounting.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Active SOCPA membership.
