About the Role

Algihaz Holding is seeking an experienced HSE Engineer with a strong background in airport operations to join their team. This full-time position, based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia, is focused on ensuring the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across projects, particularly those involving critical infrastructure and specific client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure strict adherence to all safety standards, rules, and regulations mandated by Algihaz Holding and client HSE requirements.
• Maintain a safe work environment by proactively identifying and mitigating risks to health, safety, and the environment.
• Conduct and coordinate comprehensive HSE training for site workers, tailored to their specific job functions.
• Oversee and ensure the compliant implementation of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA), Job Safety Planning (JSP), and Lockout/Tagout Procedures (LPP) during all job execution phases.
• Update and meticulously maintain all HSE documents and records in accordance with Algihaz Holding and client specifications.
• Perform frequent site inspections to verify and ensure ongoing HSE compliance.
• Provide regular and detailed HSE reports to site management and immediate supervisors, highlighting any safety issues or concerns.
• Actively participate in weekly and monthly meetings with clients and site management to discuss and address site safety matters.
• Stay current with all aspects of relevant health, safety, and welfare at work legislation, and effectively communicate any pertinent changes to project teams.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant HSE experience, with a strong preference for experience in airport environments.
• Previous experience in utility, transmission, substation, or infrastructure projects is highly valued.
• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering from a recognized university.
• Possession of NEBOSH IGC and IOSH certifications.
• Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Demonstrated experience in HSE management system implementation, conducting thorough risk assessments, leading incident investigations, ensuring compliance monitoring, and preparing client reports.
• Previous experience working on Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects is considered a significant advantage.
• Saudi nationals are preferred for this role.
