About the Role
ALPLA Group is looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join their team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role aims to drive sales growth and foster strong relationships with key clients. The incumbent will be pivotal in achieving sales targets, managing client accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction within a demanding industrial product environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of assigned key accounts, driving development and achievement of sales targets.
- Manage all day-to-day sales operations for accounts, including accurate updates to the CRM system.
- Develop strong client relationships through regular field visits to customer sites.
- Ensure accountability for all agreements, contracts, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) through regular monitoring and quarterly business review meetings with clients.
- Contribute to new business generation by assisting with pricing strategies, developing business plans, and proposals.
- Lead the monthly forecasting cycle for assigned clients, obtaining and reviewing relevant data.
- Act as the primary interface between assigned clients and internal departments to achieve account performance goals and client expectations.
- Participate in tenders and Requests for Quotations (RFQs), managing follow-up procedures including pricing, proposals, negotiations, and project follow-up.
- Update quarterly and annual price lists for assigned clients.
- Achieve assigned target budgets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within accounts.
- Proactively and continuously assess, clarify, and confirm client needs, leading solution development efforts to best meet those needs.
- Act in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times, adhering to all ALPLA Group safety policies, procedures, and standards.
- Integrate into the company culture in terms of punctuality, attitude, responsibility, departmental integration, respect for individuals, accuracy, and health and safety standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A university degree in a relevant field is required; a Master's degree is a plus.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service is essential.
- Candidates with experience in B2B sales, preferably in manufacturing industries, and ideally in plastic packaging, will be preferred.
Required Skills
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills in English. Fluency in Arabic and French is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High levels of self-motivation and a self-driven approach.
- Enthusiasm for demanding industrial products and a strong technical understanding.
- Proven ability to work as a strong team player.
- High energy levels and a proactive attitude.
- Familiarity with Sales CRM systems, pricing, business plans, proposals, forecasting, tenders, RFQs, and negotiations.
- Commitment to compliance with safety standards and environmental responsibility.
