Become a vital part of our culinary team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically at the Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel. As a Junior Pastry Sous Chef, you will engage in an exciting role that blends creativity with culinary excellence to create remarkable sweet and baked delights for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of goods and collaborate with the executive/head chef.
  • Design, test, and implement pastry menus.
  • Produce high-quality products focusing on design and taste.
  • Supervise Pastry staff effectively.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships.
  • Ensure cleanliness of workstations and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Contribute creative ideas to enhance team performance and menu options.
  • Maintain staff shift schedules.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment, arranging repairs as needed.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or above.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Effective communication skills with both customers and team members.
  • Leadership skills and willingness to work late hours as needed.
  • Extensive knowledge of Pastry and Bakery products, including Chocolate making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
