Responsibilities:- Develop new and innovative concepts in Oriental menus.
- Participate in menu planning as appropriate and supervise oriental kitchen operations.
- Direct and monitor preparation of all oriental dishes and ensure their correct presentation.
- Communicate daily with the Executive Pastry Chef about operational information.
- Inspect kitchen work stations and oversee food presentation on buffets.
- Assist in preparing budget and staffing guides for the department.
- Prepare, cook, and serve hot and cold sauces and oriental dishes.
Qualifications:- Degree in Culinary Arts (preferred)
- 3+ years in a luxury kitchen environment
- Understanding of culinary profiles and techniques
- Desire to learn new flavors and techniques
- Willingness to work nights and weekends
