We are looking for an organized project coordinator to join our dynamic team in the heavy industry and metals sector. This position is essential to ensure the successful execution of various projects by managing schedules, resources, and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating and following up on project activities, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Developing and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and adjusting timelines as needed.
  • Facilitating communication between project stakeholders, including clients and team members, to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Preparing and presenting project status reports, highlighting key milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Assisting in the preparation of project documentation, including contracts, proposals, and project plans, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitoring project budgets and expenditures, providing financial updates and recommendations for cost savings.
  • Identifying and mitigating project-related risks and proactively addressing any issues that may hinder project progress.
  • Supporting the project manager in resource allocation and team management, ensuring the right skills are applied to the right tasks.
  • Facilitating project meetings, documenting minutes and action items to ensure accountability and follow-up.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a project coordinator or in a similar role within the heavy industry or metals sector.
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills to foster collaboration among diverse teams.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to assess situations and make informed decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and build strong relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and a willingness to learn new skills.
  • A degree in project management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
