The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Project Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Hitachi Energy. In this role, you will directly report to the HBU (GPG) Supply Chain Manager and cooperate closely with the local Tender Project Team. You will be responsible for establishing the Tender Sourcing Plan based on the client's tender specifications and the global sourcing strategy.

How You’ll Make An Impact:
  • Participate proactively in tender kick-off and progress meetings.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities and critical commercial conditions.
  • Develop schedules, estimates, and budgets for procurement.
  • Issuing the project-related Tender Sourcing Plan (TSP).
  • Collaborate with tender teams to identify new suppliers.
  • Document TSP in the standard template and communicate with local teams.
  • Ensure supplier quotations are valid until purchase order placement.
  • Coordinate sourcing reviews and gather necessary data for risk reviews.
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Ensure accurate purchase orders are approved and released timely.

Your Background:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in projects and supply chain functions.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement of tailored equipment.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
