About the Welder Role

GE Vernova is seeking a skilled Welder (HRLY) to join its team in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the repair of Gas Turbine parts, requiring strict adherence to safety and quality standards. The role is structured to foster technical growth, with duties adaptable based on mentor guidance to ensure comprehensive development.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative and lead by example in all work aspects, contributing to critical repair activities within a dynamic industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding activities for Gas Turbine part repairs in strict accordance with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Execute repair activities on Gas Turbine parts following established work instructions.
• Comply with all company safety and quality requirements.
• Adhere to all current company policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Diploma, Technical College Degree, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Welder.
• Hold a valid welder qualification certificate issued by your current employer.
• Experience in welding Stainless steels, Nickel base alloys, and Cobalt base alloys is required.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Good working knowledge of welding processes.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret process prints.
• Capacity to work effectively with or without direct supervision.

Work Environment and Details

This is a full-time position based in Dammam, Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The role involves hands-on repair work within an industrial setting. Relocation assistance is not provided for this role.
