About the Clerk-Accounting Role

Four Points by Sheraton is seeking a Clerk-Accounting to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience in accounting or a related field. The role focuses on supporting financial operations through accurate record-keeping and administrative tasks.

Core Responsibilities

The Clerk-Accounting will be responsible for a variety of accounting and administrative duties essential for maintaining precise financial records and ensuring smooth office operations. Key tasks include:

  • Verifying figures, postings, and documents for accuracy in entry, mathematical calculations, and proper coding.
  • Organizing, securing, and maintaining all files, records, cash, and cash equivalents in compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Recording, storing, accessing, and analyzing computerized financial information.
  • Maintaining accurate electronic spreadsheets for financial and accounting data.
  • Classifying, coding, and summarizing numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records using journals, ledgers, and computers.
  • Preparing, maintaining, and distributing statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Completing period-end closing procedures and reports as specified.
  • Preparing, reviewing, reconciling, and issuing bills, invoices, and account statements according to company procedures.

  • Accurately and completely preparing and reviewing written documents.
  • Answering telephones and emails using appropriate etiquette.
  • Performing tasks that may involve moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Supporting team efforts to achieve common goals.
  • Listening to and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Performing other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should meet the following requirements:

  • High school diploma or *** equivalent.
