The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced General Sales Manager to lead and manage van sales operations, driving regional growth and profitability. The role is responsible for managing diverse sales teams, planning sales territories, organizing resources, setting budgets, directing sales distribution, ensuring superior customer service, and overseeing credit and trade collections. The position requires strong leadership, market understanding, and the ability to deliver consistent performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all regional van sales operations
  • Plan and optimize sales territories and route execution
  • Drive sales targets, growth, and profitability
  • Organize resources to maximize distribution efficiency
  • Maintain high customer service standards
  • Manage credit, trade collections, and compliance
  • Monitor sales trends, market execution, and competitor activities
  • Coach, develop, and lead large sales teams

Candidates without the following will not be considered:
  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Marketing, or related field)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience, including at least 4 years in a senior management role within a van sales environment.
  • Proven experience leading and managing large sales teams
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and decision‑making skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Valid driving license

Role Description

  • Record the fixed assets additions and calculate their depreciation/amortisations.
  • Reporting on the cash basis and accrual basis.
  • Preparing reports and presentations as needed
  • Handle all bank transactions, including the operations and financing activities.
  • Record general ledger entries under supervision
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and accounting records.
  • Enter financial transactions into accounting software. (Odoo)
  • Preparing the monthly withholding taxes
  • Ensure the quarterly reports are ready to be submitted to the Legal auditors on time
  • Support the Legal accountant to prepare ZAKAT returns, withholding taxes, other taxes applicable, and requirements.
  • Processing purchase requests and contracts and ensuring timely follow-up on payment.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
  • At least 3 years of prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role is highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget management
  • Proficiency in financial software, tools, and accounting systems
  • Knowledge of local financial regulations and tax requirements in Saudi Arabia
  • Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are considered a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
