Exciting opportunities await in our luxurious hotel, located along the stunning Jeddah Waterfront. We are seeking a dedicated M&E Technician to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our hotel's mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the reliable operation and maintenance of physical plant equipment, including sewerage treatment plants, steam boilers, and gensets.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing of mechanical and electrical systems to ensure they meet engineering standards.
• Lead repairs on pumps, generators, and other core equipment, keeping accurate logs of all maintenance activities.
• Assist in managing spare parts inventory and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Director of Engineering.

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mechanical Technician.
• A positive and proactive attitude with a teamwork mindset.
• Physical fitness is essential for the role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Surveillance and Prevention: Maintain constant surveillance of the pool and surrounding areas to prevent accidents.
• Emergency Response: Respond immediately to emergencies and administer first aid and CPR as necessary.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests safely enter and exit the pool while providing information about the facilities.
• Rules Enforcement: Enforce pool rules to ensure the well-being of all guests.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain rescue equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Communication: Coordinate with lifeguards and staff for effective operation.
• Training and Drills: Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
• Crowd Control: Monitor the number of guests to ensure compliance with capacity limits.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Help maintain cleanliness in the pool area and organize furniture.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and prepare reports.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

• Saudi Nationality preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as a lifeguard in a 45-star hotel.
• Certification from the Saudi Swimming Federation.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Valid pool lifeguard qualification.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
