About the Public Relations Officer Role
AlBalad AlAmeen for Development and Urban Regeneration is seeking a Public Relations Officer to join its team in Makkah, specifically serving Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 years of experience. The role is integral to enhancing the company's public image and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Core Purpose of the Position
The primary objective of this role is to manage and implement general relations strategies, thereby strengthening the company's image and reputation. This involves cultivating robust relationships with government entities and communication channels, while also supporting operational and promotional activities to contribute to the company's sustained growth and investment objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Implementing public relations initiatives aligned with the company's vision and contributing to its reputation among the public, investors, and government bodies.
- Ensuring adherence to company protocols in all communication and media content.
- Preparing accurate financial and journalistic reports, and verifying their validity.
- Disseminating official news through various communication channels and monitoring media coverage related to the company or its sector.
- Coordinating the preparation of events, conferences, and forums with partners, and preparing necessary media and official letters for these occasions.
- Building and maintaining relationships with government entities and relevant sectors, and following up on official invitations and external gatherings.
- Writing and publishing informational content, including news, success stories, reports, and introductory materials, as well as preparing promotional materials for activities.
- Maintaining an archive of company activities, news, photos, and media coverage.
- Supporting internal communication campaigns and coordinating with other departments to publish official letters for employees.
- Reporting and analyzing any negative impact on the company's reputation and proposing appropriate statements for media crisis management.
- Preparing monthly reports on public relations activities and submitting proposals for improving the company's media image.
Qualifications and Experience
This role requires a candidate with 0 to 1 year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and an understanding of public relations principles. A foundational knowledge of report preparation and media monitoring is beneficial.
Work Location and Type
The position is based in Makkah, serving the cities of Jeddah and Makkah. This is a full-time employment opportunity.
