Expression of Interest: Drainage & Mechanical Engineers

SJ Group is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from experienced professionals for potential future opportunities within Saudi Arabia, including locations such as Jeddah, Makkah, and Riyadh. We are seeking qualified candidates for the following full-time positions:

• Drainage Design Engineer
• Junior Mechanical Engineer
• Junior Drainage Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities will vary by role:

• Drainage Design Engineer: Prepare and review drainage and stormwater designs for infrastructure projects, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet project requirements, and ensure compliance with applicable standards, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Junior Mechanical Engineer: Support the design and coordination of mechanical systems, prepare engineering documentation, calculations, and technical reports, and assist senior engineers throughout project delivery.
• Junior Drainage Engineer: Assist in the preparation of drainage designs, drawings, and calculations, support design reviews and multidisciplinary coordination, and ensure engineering deliverables meet project and quality standards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should meet the following criteria for their respective roles:

• Drainage Design Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with 5–8 years of experience in drainage or infrastructure design. Proficiency in relevant engineering design software is required.
• Junior Mechanical Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, with 3+ years of relevant experience. Good knowledge of engineering principles and design software is essential.
• Junior Drainage Engineer: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with 3+ years of experience in drainage or infrastructure projects. Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary.
