Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join Aman International Engineering Consultancy in Jeddah, Makkah. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring financial accuracy while supporting decision-making through reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports in compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards (IFRS).
  • Monitor project costs, revenue recognition, and profitability across multiple engineering projects.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Assist in budget preparation, forecasts, and cash flow analysis.
  • Coordinate with project managers for accurate project accounting and financial tracking.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Support the Finance Manager with financial analysis and decision-making reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Zakat, VAT, and local tax regulations.
  • Review and approve accounting entries and journal vouchers.
  • Mentor and guide junior accountants.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CMA, or equivalent preferred.
  • 812 years of accounting experience, ideally in engineering or consultancy.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and project-based accounting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (*, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
