Join Raffles Makkah Palace as a Chief Accountant! We are dedicated to maintaining the exceptional standards inherent in the Raffles name while embracing Arab hospitality values. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our cost management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect cost information and maintain an expenses database.
  • Construct data accumulation systems to monitor fixed and variable costs.
  • Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
  • Prepare budgeting reports for the company and each department.
  • Analyze and report profit margins and prepare cost forecasts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Identify cost-effective solutions and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or Accountant.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, especially VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • BSc degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
