Join Vanderlande as a Sales Engineer!
As a Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying customer goals and requirements during the sales phase, translating these into a competitive technical solution. Collaborating closely with the sales manager, you will engage in pre-bid, bid, and closing phases to successfully secure projects.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Co-define winning sales strategies with the Sales Manager.
  • Translate customer needs into comprehensive solutions.
  • Manage sales engineering deliverables throughout the sales process.
  • Coordinate the internal sales project team to align with sales planning.
  • Prepare updates for senior management regarding bid status.
  • Deliver clear quotations encompassing all offer aspects to match calculated budgets.
  • Present technical solutions attractively to highlight customer value.
  • Handle multiple projects across various sales phases.
Required Qualifications:
  • BSc/MSc in a technical direction.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proven track record in material handling systems.
  • Experience in customer interaction through presentations and workshops.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the technical side of the sales process, sharing your expertise on Axis network video solutions with our partners and end-users. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Delivering expert technical support and guidance throughout the sales process
  • Leading product demos, conducting site surveys, and managing pilot installations
  • Supporting the sales organization in responding to tenders, RFPs, and RFQs
  • Providing technical training sessions and ongoing support to Axis Partners and end-users
  • Staying current on Axis products and innovations to develop customized customer solutions
  • Managing technical logistics for Axis-hosted events, exhibitions, and trade shows
  • Collaborating with Key Account Managers and Inside Sales to identify, influence, and secure new projects
  • Participating in joint customer visits

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You should have a focused and self-motivated background in Security or Networking, with experience in pre-sales, project-based work within the video security market. Specific qualifications include:
  • 10+ years of experience in the video surveillance industry or IT channel
  • Strong knowledge of networking and IP-based technologies
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • Proficiency in English; Arabic is not mandatory but preferred
