About the Role

****, a KSA-based company with Silicon Valley experience, is expanding its suite of products in Voice AI and AI agents. The company is seeking a motivated Agent Engineering Intern to join its dynamic team. This role provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern AI, working closely with engineering, product, and client-facing teams. The position is ideal for individuals looking to contribute to a fast-paced start-up environment.

Role Overview

As an Agent Engineering Intern, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and deploying AI agents to address real-world challenges. You will support Proof of Concept (POC) development, manage the end-to-end delivery of agent implementations, and engage directly with clients. This internship offers a practical learning experience in a growing technology sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new client use cases, managing the process from initial scoping through to demo-ready delivery.
  • Design and build AI agents utilizing the company's proprietary platform, translating client requirements into functional agent workflows.
  • Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of agent implementations, ensuring accountability for timelines, quality, and project outcomes.
  • Interface directly with clients to gather detailed requirements, present project progress, address inquiries, and manage expectations.
  • Evaluate recorded interactions between AI agents and customers for accuracy, appropriate tone, compliance adherence, and overall customer experience.
  • Score conversations against a defined quality rubric and document findings within the quality assurance (QA) tracking system.
  • Identify and flag agent errors, instances of hallucination, missed customer cues, and policy or compliance issues for the engineering team.
  • Analyze call data to identify recurring patterns and trends, including common failure modes, frequent customer questions, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Partner with the Operations team to provide feedback that informs agent training, prompt updates, and product enhancements.
  • Assist in refining and evolving the QA rubric and scoring guidelines.
  • Contribute to weekly quality reports, summarizing key performance metrics, significant issues, and recommended improvements.
  • Review chat or text-based agent transcripts in addition to voice calls.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Currently in your final semester or a recent university graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in software quality assurance, testing, and AI technologies.
  • Possess a foundational understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with testing tools or programming languages is considered a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt within a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in both spoken and written Arabic and English.
  • Must be based in Riyadh.
