GCCTIC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Collection Officer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is crucial for effectively managing the company's accounts receivable and ensuring timely collection processes. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining financial stability through diligent and professional collection efforts.
Purpose of the Collection Officer Role
The Collection Officer will play a key role in managing outstanding debts and engaging with clients to resolve payment issues. This involves applying strong negotiation and communication skills to achieve collection targets while preserving client relationships. The role requires a proactive approach to debt recovery and meticulous record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the collection of outstanding accounts receivable.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding overdue payments and resolve any discrepancies.
- Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers to facilitate debt recovery.
- Implement and execute effective follow-up procedures to ensure timely payments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collection activities and customer interactions.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, for tracking, reporting, and analysis of collection data.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Between 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Collections, Accounts Receivable, or a relevant financial domain.
Required Skills and Proficiencies
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.
- Proven negotiation abilities to secure favorable payment arrangements.
- Excellent follow-up skills to ensure the resolution of outstanding accounts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with particular emphasis on advanced Excel skills.
