Design Manager Arch

About the Role

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Design Manager Arch to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves leading and managing the coordination of multi-disciplinary design and design-review projects across various sectors, including buildings, infrastructure, landscape, and master planning. The role operates on the consultant side, focusing on design governance, technical integration, authority compliance, and stakeholder coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the coordination of multi-disciplinary design teams, ensuring alignment across architectural, structural, MEP, infrastructure, and specialist disciplines.
• Oversee design development and design review activities from concept through detailed design and IFC.
• Ensure consistency with the client brief, design intent, project objectives, and applicable regulations.
• Coordinate design submissions, responses to comments, and revisions arising from client, authority, and third-party reviews.
• Act as the central point of contact for design interfaces and technical integration.
• Manage and coordinate sub-consultants, ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables aligned with scope and programme.
• Chair design coordination meetings and workshops, issuing clear actions and follow-ups.
• Support project management functions including programme tracking, progress reporting, and risk identification.
• Ensure design documentation meets consultancy QA/QC procedures and project quality requirements.
• Maintain structured records of design decisions, approvals, and technical correspondence.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant design management or coordination role.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-disciplinary design projects.
• Proficiency in design governance, technical integration, and authority compliance.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working within a consultant environment, coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders.
