ELECTRICAL BIM ENGINEER

About the Role

Duncan & Ross is seeking an experienced Electrical BIM Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves developing, coordinating, and managing electrical BIM models for various building and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will ensure all models comply with project specifications and BIM standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for electrical systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Prepare BIM models for power distribution, lighting, ELV, fire alarm, and cable containment systems.
• Coordinate electrical models with mechanical, plumbing, architectural, and structural disciplines.
• Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks.
• Produce shop drawings, layouts, sections, schedules, and as-built drawings from BIM models.
• Ensure BIM deliverables comply with the project BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and client standards.
• Review IFC drawings, consultant drawings, and technical specifications.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings and resolve design clashes.
• Support quantity take-off and material estimation from BIM models.
• Assist site and engineering teams with model updates and technical coordination.
• Maintain accurate and updated project models throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Required Skills

• Understanding of international electrical codes and BIM standards.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with clash resolution and multidisciplinary BIM coordination.
• Knowledge of construction and site execution processes.
