Watania Steel is currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to become a vital part of our Finance Team. The ideal candidate will possess proven experience in accounting within the manufacturing sector and hands-on expertise in SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage audit processes.
  • Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
  • Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Handle costing and inventory control functions.
  • Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
  • Process payments and manage banking transactions.
  • Maintain relationships with banks.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
  • Support Zakat and tax filing processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (*, SAP).
  • Solid understanding of VAT, ZATCA, and SOCPA regulations.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and team collaboration skills.
