Join our team at Olayan Saudi Holding Company as a General Accountant!
We are looking for a dedicated individual to support our Financial Controllers in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in monthly and yearly closings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inventory Control:
    • Monitor and report inventory movements including shipments and transfers.
    • Prepare reports for inventory valuation and adjustments.
    • Reconcile inventory with General Ledger monthly.
  • Accruals and Prepayments:
    • Review and propose monthly accruals for various expenses.
    • Prepare schedules for prepayments and adjustments.
  • Month-End Activities:
    • Prepare Journal Vouchers for month-end activities.
    • Finalize trial balance and draft Financial Statements for review.
  • VAT Reconciliation:
    • Prepare monthly VAT reconciliations for input and output.
    • Coordinate VAT return submissions with GAZT.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 2-3 years of relevant experience is required.

Position Overview
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supervising daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and reviewing financial records. This position also includes cost analysis, monitoring receivables and payables, preparing bank reconciliations, and contributing to budgeting and year-end financial closing.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of IFRS and accounting regulations.
  • Excellent financial reporting and analysis skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Roles And Responsibilities
  • Supervise and review daily journal entries to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and periodically review account balances.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable and prepare monthly reports.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Review expenses and costs to ensure compliance with financial policies.
  • Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Participate in inventory audits and year-end closing.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting standards.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documents.
  • Perform financial analysis and recommend improvements.
  • Supervise accounting staff and assign tasks when needed.
