About the Role
LNKD is seeking a dedicated Key Account Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position focuses on driving sales and managing key client relationships within the specialized coffee industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in expanding our presence in the HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés) and OCS (Office Coffee Service) sectors.
Industry Specialization
This role requires direct, hands-on experience in selling coffee and coffee machines/equipment. It is distinct from general FMCG or F&B sales roles, demanding a proven track record specifically within the coffee industry. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in selling coffee products, espresso/coffee machines, and related equipment to hotels, restaurants, cafés, and catering businesses.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and target sales opportunities specifically within the coffee and coffee equipment space, directly manage client relationships, and set business reviews.
- Identify and open new accounts across HORECA and OCS, ensuring maximum coffee and coffee machine sales potential, and introducing new coffee products or equipment to clients.
- Work with colleagues to develop long-term client relationships with contractual commitments, particularly around coffee supply and machine servicing/upgrade cycles.
- Participate in developing strategies and follow the company's current business model for prospective and current coffee/HORECA clients.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints related to coffee products or machine performance, in coordination with training and technical departments, to maintain trust.
- Partner with the Key Accounts Manager and marketing department on coffee-focused branding, marketing projects, and social media campaigns.
- Prepare and negotiate pricing plans and quotations, maximizing sales of coffee products and coffee machines/equipment specifically.
- Adopt a "research-driven" approach for client meetings and ensure 100% focus on sales efforts, including logging reports and maintaining high productivity.
Qualifications and Experience
- A demonstrable track record of 5-10 years of experience specifically in the coffee industry.
- Direct, hands-on experience selling coffee and coffee machines/equipment into HORECA and OCS accounts.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships and drive sales within a specialized market segment.
