About the Role
GE HealthCare is seeking a Product Clinical Specialist for Surgery to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on customer centricity within the surgery modality field, contributing to the Saudi Arabia surgery market. The position involves serving various surgery modality customers, including commercial, marketing, clinical support, sales demonstrations, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive orders, sales, margin, and market share through expert clinical consulting, customer relationship building, and educational support for sales teams, "show sites," and the customer base.
- Initiate, prepare, and lead professional pre-sales demonstration sessions, both inside and outside operating theaters.
- Provide immediate responses to customer requests, including post-sales training, remote support, and marketing presentations.
- Increase awareness of the GEHC surgery portfolio's clinical strengths through professional marketing campaigns, activities, and roadshows.
- Enhance surgery visibility in the region through direct and indirect customer engagement via account managers, biomedical engineers, field engineers, and service colleagues.
- Take accountability for business success from pre-sales lead generation through machine delivery and training.
- Act as a business owner, collaborating with all company divisions and stakeholders to ensure accurate follow-up and precise execution plans.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of sales territories, product lines, markets, sales processes, and customer groups, applying analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute strategy.
- Consult customers clinically and position products effectively, demonstrating awareness of the competition and market differentiators.
- Propose solutions for complex day-to-day problems across projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer segments.
- Prioritize information and use technical experience and analytical thinking for decision-making, drawing from multiple internal and limited external sources.
- Function primarily as an individual contributor, acting as a resource for less experienced colleagues and potentially leading small, low-risk projects.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Significant experience in general sales, with advanced clinical sales experience being essential.
- Knowledge level equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited university; a Radiology background is preferred.
- At least 2 years of sufficient clinical experience with multiple C-Arms, including previous successful demo sessions.
- Acceptable experience within the Saudi market, specifically with surgery modality customers.
Desired Attributes
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
- Proficiency in documenting, planning, marketing, and executing programs.
- Established project management skills.
- Socially adept, humble, and capable of cooperating with diverse teams and personalities.
- A fast learner with a drive for continuous self-evolution.
- A strong sense of customer centricity.
Compliance and Quality Standards
Adherence to the highest standards of compliance with relevant international and local regulatory requirements and GE Healthcare Codes of Conduct is mandatory. This includes complying with all applicable GE and GE Healthcare compliance policies, codes, and training requirements. The role requires identifying and reporting any quality or compliance concerns and taking immediate corrective action as necessary. Awareness and compliance with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations are expected. All planned Quality & Compliance training must be completed within deadlines. Maintaining knowledge of and operating within applicable Global and Regional Privacy and Anti-Competition Policies, as well as Environmental Health Policies, is essential to ensure no company policy or local/international law is broken. Driving continuous improvement in all related processes, work instructions, and procedures is key to ensuring ongoing standardization and simplification of the Quality Management System.
