Product Manager of AI Applications Global Public Sector

About the Role

Scale AI is seeking a Product Manager of AI Applications for the Global Public Sector team. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and requires 2-5 years of experience. The Product Manager will lead the ideation and development of AI solutions for government and government-backed entities outside the United States, focusing on leveraging proprietary data and expertise to transform organizations with AI.

Team and Mission

The Global Public Sector team at Scale AI is responsible for generating, executing, and fostering work with government entities internationally. The team develops bespoke solutions powered by the Scale GenAI Platform, a full-stack product designed to build, test, and deploy frontier AI systems. This role involves understanding customer pain points and workflows to build cutting-edge solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design workshops with clients to define custom AI solutions.
• Scope out new AI application use cases across various government entities.
• Lead cross-functional development of AI applications and custom LLMs with diverse stakeholders, including Engineering, Operations, and Go-to-Market teams.
• Consistently engage with future end-users to solicit feedback and ensure effective prioritization.
• Stay informed about the latest research in applied AI and custom LLM training.
• Scope out model evaluation sets and performance requirements, review results, and iterate on solutions.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and International Public Sector leadership.

Required Qualifications

• Experience level of 4+ years.
• Deep experience with AI/ML application development.
• Ability to think strategically about problem-solving.
• Strong listening skills.
• Comfortable with operational details.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.

Role Scope

The Product Manager will be responsible for owning large AI projects for one or multiple customers. This involves leading a cross-functional team of engineers, Machine Learning Engineers (MLEs), and operators to build impactful solutions that drive revenue for the business.
