As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for selecting, evaluating, and managing suppliers and subcontractors for active projects and tenders. Your expertise will be vital in supporting the technical team during the bidding phase to secure the best quotes, particularly for generic materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive Technical team requests for quotations (RFQs) and ensure favorable terms including payment and delivery.
  • Validate specifications and quantities required per RFQ with the Technical office.
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers/subcontractors, acting as the contract administrator until project completion.
  • Maintain and update suppliers’ master data and prepare monthly reports on RFQ and Vendor Performance.
  • Develop project procurement plans in collaboration with project managers.
  • Evaluate supplier's performance and provide reports to the team leader.
  • Conduct market scanning for new suppliers to enhance cost efficiency.

Personal Skills:
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong team player and problem solver.
  • Proficient in English.

Technical Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement.

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate and administer the procurement process throughout all procurement stages.
  • Prepare the main material list from project ** & drawings.

  • Evaluate bids and prepare recommendations, engaging the Engineering team for technical reviews as necessary.

  • Contribute to the value engineering process and develop relationships with suppliers.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
  • Over 8 years of experience in the construction procurement industry, with at least 5 years in the KSA market.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience in tender and vendor management processes.
  • Positive, assertive personality with strong skills in Excel and Word.
  • Experience with bespoke procurement software, such as ERP and MRP software, is a plus.
