This role is crucial for driving growth and expanding our presence in the market.

Role Purpose

The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within assigned industry categories and market segments. This involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong client and partner relationships, and ensuring the achievement of sales and profitability targets in line with Cigna's overall strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and follow up on new business leads to meet sales and profitability targets.
• Research and develop new business opportunities within specific industry categories and market segments.
• Prepare focused, client-specific presentations highlighting Cigna's unique selling propositions against competitors.
• Develop proactive strategies, with regular reviews, to maximize specific opportunities.
• Assess prospective clients’ existing expatriate insurance arrangements to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain a distribution network of brokers, consultants, and strategic partners.
• Act as an adviser to prospective clients and partners on all aspects of expatriate insurance requirements.
• Stay informed of market developments, both client and competitor-related, and contribute to new product development and business initiatives.
• Liaise with other Cigna offices and internal departments to generate growth opportunities and maintain high service levels.
• Participate in key projects as required and manage prospective client and opportunity data accurately using CRM software (SFDC).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of sales experience in the corporate market, with international exposure.
• Essential experience in corporate Employee Benefits, specifically group healthcare insurances.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is preferred.
