About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Manager - Scheduling to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is integral to the development of the Qiddiya City project, specifically within the Hospitality Business Unit.

Role Context

The Hospitality Business Unit oversees the complete delivery of numerous hotel assets within Qiddiya City, encompassing a range of hotel categories from economy to ultra-luxury. The Senior Manager - Scheduling will be responsible for providing scheduling expertise across various hospitality projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and efficient resource utilization. This role involves close collaboration with a team of professionals to deliver innovative guest experiences and successfully complete assets within the hospitality portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, defining key milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations.
  • Analyze project schedules to identify potential risks, delays, and critical paths, proposing solutions for timely delivery.
  • Facilitate collaboration between the central Development Unit, Hospitality development managers, project managers, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive scheduling efforts.
  • Update schedules regularly based on project progress, scope changes, and resource availability, providing real-time insights to senior management.
  • Conduct regular schedule reviews using performance metrics to track progress and recovery strategies related to schedule adherence.
  • Promote proactive communication within project teams to ensure alignment with objectives and timelines.
  • Implement best practices in scheduling and leverage advanced scheduling software to enhance planning and execution processes.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in scheduling or project management roles, with a preference for experience in the hospitality sector, including the construction stage.
  • Preference for holding Membership of the Association of Planning Engineers, Certified Planning Engineer, or a similar certification.
  • Excellent working knowledge of scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • In-depth understanding of construction processes and project management principles.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role operates within the Hospitality Business Unit, contributing to the development of significant hospitality assets.
